On behalf of TSI, we wish all of our members and friends from the Pop:Re community a Merry Christmas and happy new year. It’s been a while since our last update, hopefully the information below will fill readers in on what’s new in TSI and the populous community.
Giving Tournament and Leagues:
In December 2020 Ice-t and Leaf hosted the Giving Tournament. It was a new and exciting format that consisted of two teams each with a team captain that drafted their own teams. The two teams led by Tundar and Keith52 were The Tundras ([TS]Marcus was a members of the Tundras) and Team Clean Sweep. The Tundras ended up winning the tournament 3-2. Find all the details as well as videos of the matches in this thread (original concept). Congratulations to Ice and the tournament organizers on hosting possibly the most successful tournament in Pop:re history. And congratulations to Marcus and The Tundras for winning the tournament.
During the last ever seasonal league (season 10) [TSI]Marcus and Ice-t_TSI finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment!
Some time since the last clan update, TSI has made it’s way into the top ten of the all time clan leagues table and currently sits at #8. This is a testament to TSI’s activity and longevity within the populous community, great work!
TSI currently boasts three players within the top fifteen on the pop:re skill leagues. TSI, as always, remains competitive at the top levels of populous.Click here for a screenshot of the leagues as of 12-24-20
Updated Member List:
Not a lot has changed in regards to our personnel but take a look below for our current member list. TSI’s newest member is [TSI]Fake better known as psycho. Congratulations on becoming a member!
TSI is always welcome to new members, if you are interested please contact Ice-T/Marcus or apply. Benefits include becoming part of a supportive and active community as well as being trained by some of the strongest players in the game.

We now have our own discord space! It’s a great way to communicate and stay in touch with other members and other members of the populous community. It’s hosted in the Dakiny server. If you are a TSI member ask Marcus, Ice, or anyone with the Aedile role for access to the TSI section.

Populous News:
A lot has happened in populous as well since the last update. The Beta version of populous has made it’s debut and it allows for some amazing additions to the game like no limits on buildings or population, up to 8 player games, and many bug fixes. There is also a new co-op campaign that can be played (courtesy of beta) with a friend. Be sure to check it out if you haven’t!
The first beta tournament is currently in its sign up stage. Details available here.
